OPERATION:
An operator manually places the product in feed fingers which are mounted on an endless chain. These pass thrrough two circular knives that adjust themselves automatically to the different size product, permitting the same amount to be cut off each onion, shallot or radish, regardless of size with a minimum of waste. Product may be placed in the feed fingers without regard to which side either the stem or root are facing, as long as they are oriented from side-to-side.
FEATURES:
Cutting blades automatically adjust to size of the product being cut within it's size range thus reducing waste but assuring close trimming of stem and roots ends regardless of various lengths of the stems.- Manufacturer rated for up to 80 onions or radishes per minute for 1 inch to 1.75 inch diameter product.
- Stainless steel guides center the product to further assure efficient cutting.
- 27 inch wide by 55 inch long by 9 inch deep product infeed hopper.
- 35 inch long loading section.
- Food grade sanitary stainless steel construction including frame & shrouding.
- Stainless steel control box with start/stop controls.
- Safety interlock system power to the machine if access door is opened.
