with BELT CONVEYOR, 25x16,
food grade sanitary stainless steel.

A Cassel Metalshark2 MULTI-FREQUENCY washdown sealed food grade sanitary stainless steel conveyorized metal detection system for detecting metal contamination in food or other products in the context of industrial process line applications.

  • 15.5 inch high by 25 5/8 inch wide (387mm high by 651mm wide) net USABLE aperture opening with the conveyor belt in place...

  • The stainless steel frame wash-down belt transfer conveyor has a 104 inch (2642mm) long by 23.5 inch (597mm) wide interlocking plastic chain type belt, running at a 31 inch (787mm) working height, with adjustable feet allowing + 4 inch (100mm) height adjustment.

  • y5097o._crop_email.jpgThe thru-conveyor is complete with a belt-stop alarm reject system configuration, and a VFD variable speed control for the belt drive, adjustable from 16 to 75 feet per minute (approximately 5 to 23 meters per minute) belt speed. We can configure other reject systems to suit your particular product needs; CALL 315-589-4511 to discuss your specific product application.

  • A food grade metal detector specifically built for food processing and other industrial production line and packaging line metal detection applications. All food grade / USDA sanitary hose-wash-down stainless steel construction (IP-67/NEMA 6 search head enclosure, IP-65/Nema4,4x,6,12 & 13 control enclosure).

  • y5097j_crop_email.jpgThe search head is complete with integral touchpad operator controls with a 5.4 inch color screen, including RS-232 and RS-485 serial data acquisition ports, and ethernet data interface, in a stainless steel enclosure. Optional data logging software is available for tracking and reporting for HACCP and other quality assurance and certification regimes.

  • FOUR FREQUENCY LEVELS (35kHz, 75kHz, 150kHz, and 300kHz), allowing precise tuning for optimal sensitivity across an exceptionally wide range of products / product types (wet, dry, salty, meat, fruits, vegetables, fresh, frozen, hot, cold, etc.) allowing for maximum versatility with the widest range of products. The optimal frequencies automatically set by the system in "product learn" mode tomaximize sensitivity / minimize false rejects with your specific product.

  • Sensitivity varies depending on product run, and frequency setting (determined by product characteristics), especially where wet, salty, or acidic products that are electrically conductive introduce "product effect" into the equation, however the manufacturer rates dry sensitivity for this head, with no product effect at a sensitivity of 2.5mm ferrous, 2.9mm non ferrous, and 3.2mm stainless steel at 300 kHz.

  • Quick teach feature learns new products in 4 to 7 passes.

  • The control unit allows for 120 product presets, where product presets save the frequency setting with the other tuning data.

  • Single control board technology with all control electronics on one circuit board maximizes reliability, and minimizes maintenance expenses.

  • 304 stainless steel search head and conveyor construction.

  • 110 volt single phase (standard household current) electrical input.

  • NEW EQUIPMENT - Includes a 2 year manufacturer warranty on hardware / parts.

This make / model conveyorized METAL DETECTOR configuration is generally in stock NEW at Alard, available for immediate shipment.

CALL 315-589-4511 to confirm availability, and to discuss your particular food process metal detection equipment needs.
