A Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Votator II scraped-surface heat exchanger, steam jacketed and insulated, for continuous closed loop heating or cooling of pumpable fluids or slurries, viscous, sticky, or particulate laden products. Uses a rotating shaft with blades to continuously scrape the product from the heat transfer surface, ensuring efficient heat transfer, and preventing fouling. For bringing products to uniform temperatures for a broad range of industrial applications, including food processing, pharmaceutical & chemical production.
