Described by a variety of names, this high quality Blentech-made, food grade ROTARY DRUM WASHER, cleaning reel, dewatering reel, root crop tumble washer, rinser, is useful as a dirt reel to clean raw produce from the field, for liquid-solids separation for process water recovery, and or as a fruit and vegetable rinser for industrial-capacity food processing applications, including frozen foods, canning, raw produce, pre-cut produce, and fresh-cut produce. For whole or cut products, including potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, beans, rice, and others.
FEATURES:
- 7 foot 6 inch long by 36 inch diameter stainless steel screening drum / screening reel with 3/32 inch perforations, and 5 inch high sprial flights on 12 inch spacing.
(2) stainless steel spray headers, one inside the reel, and one outside the reel, to wash or rinse food products such as root crops, and to prevent screen blinding.- Full length stainless steel water catch pan under the reel.
- Mounted at an angle on a stainless steel frame, and "runs uphill".
- All food grade sanitary stainless steel construction.
