The Bock / North Star Engineered Products (NSEP) HW3800 Series HELICAL WASH SYSTEM is a turbulent-flow IMMERSION WASHER, turbulent wash flume with water-jet agitation for gentle but forceful washing for pre-cut fruits and vegetables -- including cut or whole leafy greens and delicate leaf products like spinach, baby spinach, spring mix plus other pre-cut produce food products. This is an high-capacity food-grade immersion wash system for industrial food processing applications such as pre-cut produce processing, freshcut salad packing, frozen food preparation, and other commercial food production operations.

FEATURES:

• Laminar-flow helical washer is 96 inches long by 20 inches wide by 22 inch deep U-trough with adjustable agitating water jets.
  
  
  • Three (3) forward facing "push" nozzles.
    
    
  • Six (6) "vortex" nozzles located along the upper left hand side.
    
    
  • Seven (7) "vortex" nozzles located along the lower left hand side.
    
    
  • Water jet nozzles are removable for sanitation.
    
    
• Wash tank overflows onto a 51 inch long by 18 inch wide vibratory DEWATERING DISCHARGE CONVEYOR:
  
  
  • 3/16 inch diameter perforated screen.
    
    
  • 2-levels of screening to remove fine trash from the wash-water.
    
    
  • Powered by two (2) rotary eccentric motors.
    
    
• 31 inch square stainless steel CATCH AND BALANCE TANK:
  
  
  • Two (2) 3 HP recirculation pumps.
    
    
  • Check-valves keep the wash tank water from draining into the surge tank when the pump is shut off.
