...the Urschel TRANSLICER 2500 series SLICER is a two (or optionally three) dimensional cutter with a large interchangeable 25-inch (635mm) cutting wheel allowing for very high speed cutting of large, leafy vegetables and fresh-cut fruits without pre-cutting. Very high capacity for industrial food factory, food processing applications. Manufacturer rated for a wide range of food products including romaine and iceburg lettuce, cabbage, celery, melons, peppers, potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, pineapple, onions, spinach, and certain meats.

Compressible food products up to 8 inches (203mm) in diameter.

Firm round products (e.g. cabbage) up to 6.75 inches (171mm) in diameter.

The pitch, number of knives, and belt-speed determine the cut. A full range of cutting parts are available from the manufacturer for:

FLAT SLICES from 1/32 inch (.8mm) to 3.5 inches (88.9mm).

JULIENNE CUTS (2-dimensional) cuts from soft products from 3.8 inch (9.5mm) by 1/8 inch (3.2mm) up to 2 inch (76.1mm) by 2 inch (50.8mm); and...

SHRED CUTS ranging from 3/8 inch (9.5mm) to approximately 3 inches (76.1mm) in length, and 1/32 inch (.8mm) to 9/32 inch (7.1mm).

Two high-speed feed belts sloped to form a "V-Belt" cross-section.

First belt orients and accelerates the product.

Second belt is synchronized with the speed of the cutting head to achieve the desired slice thickness.

Food grade sanitary stainless steel construction.

Complete with factory electrical control panel with variable speed controllers, and an electronic safety interlock system integrated with brakemotor drive.

208 / 230 volt 3 phase electrical input.
