...a new Alardsieve 7250 water recovery screener / scalper sieve, hydrosieve,
for solids separation, wash-water filtratin, and / or waste-water
recovery. A hydrasive type static screen sieve for separating solids
from water or other liquids such as cooking oils.
This stationary screen is configured with a special triangular-rod /
wedge-wire screen specifically designed for liquid-solid separation
with very precise and consistent sieve opening sizes. Solids in a
liquid such as water or oil pass over the stationary screen. The liquid
passes through the screen to a collection tank and drain, leaving the
solids to pass over the screen for collection beneath.
An ideal separator for wash-water reclaim / reuse, by-product recovery,
and / or otherwise removing solids from waste water in industrial food
processing plant applications such as peeling, coring, and grading
operations for removing stems, seeds, leaves, and other foreign
materials from rinse water. Also commonly used in other municipal and
plant waste-water treatment facilities for solids removal filtration,
screening, filtration, dewatering, dehydration, desliming,
sieving, and filtration.
FEATURES:

All T304 stainless steel construction
screen AND cabinet.
Standard sieve size openings run from .010 to .100,
with other sieve sizes available to be priced upon request.
Sieve
screen is mounted in stainless steel cabinet with integral head box.
There are 5.5"
cleanout ports on each side to allow access for cleaning behind the
screen and in the catch chamber.
Throughput rating for a .040" screen
sieve is approximately 70 gpm per square foot of screen or approximately 1,700
gallons per minute. Actual throughput will vary depending product
characteristics, ratio of solids to liquids, & etc.
OPERATION:
Water is fed through a 4" NPT infeed port and builds in the head box
until it overflows the weir.
At the top of the screen is a hinged,
swing-up (for cleaning) dispersion baffle to help assure even, laminar
water flow.
Solids continue down the screen and drop off the bottom
edge of the screen.
As the solids and liquid travel down the
screen, the liquid is stripped away from the solids, flowing through
the sieve screen and back into the catch chamber of the cabinet where
it is discharged through a 12.5 diameter opening.
